NCC Forum “SEA (Strategic Environmental Assessment): The Survival of Country Development?”

NIDA Consulting Center held NCC Forum “SEA (Strategic Environmental Assessment): The Survival of Country Development?” on Tuesday July 23, 2019 at room 3003, floor 3 Navamindradhiraj Building, National Institute of Development Administration.

The forum aimed to build knowledge and understanding about SEA and spread the importance of SEA to organization in all related sections, to present sample cases and experiences which can be learned from strategic environmental assessment, and to encourage knowledge sharing about conducting SEA in Thailand.

Keynote speakers included Prof. Dr. Chamlong Poboon (Director of the Center for Environment and Global Warming Research, National Institute of Development Administration), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sutin Yoosuk (Chairman of Strategic Environmental Assessment Development Working Team and Chairman of Strategic Environmental Assessment Manual Documentation Working Team), and Mr. Supakit Nantaworakan (Public Policy Manager, Healthy Public Policy Foundation). This forum is beneficial to both government and private section agencies in applying knowledge and vision to lead to knowledge sharing for managing environment more efficiently and effectively.
