Academic Services Offered by NIDA Consulting Center

NIDA Consulting Center is the center for providing academic services to various organizations for a long time. The projects coordinated by the Center were highly regarded by its clients for integrity and applicability. The coordination role fulfilled by the Consulting Center has achieved various fields of academic coverage, especially when the project results are applied for business and management solutions.

Types of Academic Services

Academic services provided by the Consulting Center can be classified into three major areas.

1. Consulting services

The Consulting Center acts as the coordinator to arrange NIDA's academic staff who possess significant academic and practical experience to render consulting services to your organizations. You can send your requests for certain areas or scopes of task for consultation. The examples of our consulting services are work system development project and work flow improvement project. The time length of each consulting service project can be different and will normally be determined according to the scope of task which your organization proposes or according to the NIDA's academic staff deem to be appropriate.

2. Research services

Normally, the scope of research projects can cover a wide variety of disciplines. The objectives of the research topics and time length of projects are generally pre-determined by your organizations. Examples of past research topics, which are served by the Consulting Center and NIDA's academic staff, are (1) feasibility study, (2) study on effects and impacts of environmental changes toward the business and industry, and (3) business research.

3. Other services

There are several projects provided by the Consulting Center which are not classified into any of the above-mentioned categories. However, the Consulting Center can arrange the suitable staff to respond to your requirements. Our past projects are television program and translation service.

Our Clients

The Consulting Center has completed the total of 600 projects during the past five years. According to our records, our clients can be categorized as follows.

1. Government Agencies

cover Ministry, Bureau, Department, and Committee. Our client list consists of Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Commerce, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

2. State Enterprises

include both production and service enterprises. Examples are Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, Metropolitan Electricity Authority, Telephone Organization of Thailand, and Thai Airways Public Company Limited.

3. Private Agencies

are the most diverse group of clients. The Consulting Center provides broad variety of disciplines covering economics, business administration, human resource management, and information technology. Our clients are among large and medium-size local companies. Examples are PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited., Siam Cement Company, Chareon Pokaphand Group, Berli Jucker Company, various commercial banks, and many Provincial Chambers of Commerce.

4. International Agencies

are also served by NIDA's Consulting Center. Our client list includes Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Asian Development Bank (ADB), Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific – United Nations Development Program (ESCAP – UNDP).
